Upgrade to Plesk 8 - July 21, 2006
The underlaying server software, Plesk, has been upgrade to version 8. At first glance, you can see the differences in the graphics of the control panel and icons. But there are also many feature upgrades that will improve the security, speed, and management of the server.
Security: Dr. Web Antivirus has been upgraded to 4.33. The server's auto installer will now upgrade the Antivirus on the server automatically. Updates can now be applied quickly and when needed. SpamAssassin has also been upgraded. Spam can be controlled and blocked more easily. Dr. Web Antivirus and SpamAssassin both have improved manangement commands and interfaces.
